January 9-11

The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to Spokane January 9–11, 2026, marking its 50th anniversary and continuing a long-standing tradition that has brought world-class mountain and adventure films to local audiences for more than three decades. Each night features a fresh selection of 7–9 films showcasing mountain culture, environmental stewardship, exploration, and human stories rooted in wild places. It’s a three-evening celebration that brings together adventurers, storytellers, and outdoor enthusiasts who look forward to this festival year after year.
This milestone season also highlights local and regional organizations dedicated to protecting the lands and waters of the Inland Northwest. A special VIP event takes place Saturday, January 10, beginning at 5 pm, with proceeds supporting the participating non-profits. VIP tickets include an exclusive preshow gathering, appetizers and beverages provided by Feast World Kitchen and Townshend Cellars, full film admission, and first-choice seating for the evening screening.
Festival entry times are as follows: Friday and Saturday, doors open at 6 pm with shows at 7 pm; Sunday, doors open at 2 pm with a 3 pm screening. Ticket, VIP, and event details are available at FoxTheaterSpokane.org.
