ohn Grollmus and Brad Fosseen have been more than restaurateurs in the Inland Northwest. For nearly three decades, they’ve built a family. The two lifelong friends started with a dream to create a welcoming restaurant and have since expanded their original vision into a community-focused collection of dining spots: Moon Time in Coeur d’Alene, The Porch in Hayden Lake, and The Elk Public House, Two Seven Public House, and El Que in Spokane. Each location is a beloved staple, offering delicious food and a sense of belonging for patrons and employees.

s guardian and advocate for the Spokane River, Spokane Riverkeeper’s mission is to “protect, preserve, and restore the Spokane River for future generations.” This Earth Day and beyond, Spokane Riverkeeper supports and advocates for the river, its fish, and its wildlife.

“We create community connections to the river that lead to stronger environmental protections via restoration, cleanup, and policy,” says Jule Schultz, Waterkeeper at Spokane Riverkeeper. “Last year, Spokane Riverkeeper removed 68,000 pounds of garbage from the Spokane River with 2,300 volunteers. That information, and the associated data will be submitted to advocate for a cleaner river.”

Bloomsday Run  

On May 4, 2025, thousands will gather for this annual 12K road race through Spokane. Whether you're running or cheering from the sidelines, it’s a spring tradition not to be missed. Register at BloomsdayRun.org.  

Walla Walla Wine on Tour – Spokane
On April 13, 2025, the Walla Walla Valley wine community brings its renowned wines to the Spokane Convention Center.
